Jack: Week At A Glance

Just in time for Cyber Monday, I debut a new template. This template came about because of my need to organize my lessons before I actually plan for the next week. I wanted a template where I could quickly jot down themes, skills, crafts, anything important for me to remember when I send my copies to the district print center, or that I might forget when planning.

Jack
$5.00
This template is a one page Week at a Glance form. There is an area for weekly objectives, editable in the Word version to suit your classes needs. A block to jot down workstations for the week. As well as a block to jot down guided reading groups, books and levels, again completely editable on the Word version. Other sections on the template include reminders, to do, special events, and a Next Week section to write down upcoming notes. The font used in this template is a clean and simple font (free) called LD Elementary.
For today only, this template is marked down 10% for Cyber Monday.
Hope you have a happy holiday!

M's Kinder Plans

I know you all have been asking and waiting for my own plans, and some of you were satiated when I posted, for sale, my first grade template. Now I am back with my kindergarten template. All I can say is that I tweak them often, but they make my life so much easier. Planning for 4 different grade levels is hard, so I try to stream line my plans. Hope you like them as much as I do.

M's Kinder Plans
This template is a one page, week at a glace format. It includes areas for whole group instruction and independent practice, ie guided reading. It covers whole group and guided reading, writing and language arts. On the left hand side you will find a box for the weekly objectives, evaluations, ELL/ ESL strategies and a spot to jot down your small groups. The font used in this template is a clean and simple template called LD Elementary.

The Greg

After a long absence and a kind of "creators block" period I am back with some new templates.

I was excited when I talked to Greg from Kindergarten Smorgasbord about creating him a custom template. Well, I had mixed emotions because I love the template that Greg was using, Alec. It is one of my favorites and I knew I would be sad when he didn't post it on his Scheduling Sundays. HOWEVER, when he mentioned that he wanted a different format, one that I have been trying to create for some time now, I knew that the timing and inspiration was there. I enjoyed making his new custom template and am glad he will have something that meets his planning needs.

No more chat, here it is the...

Greg
This template is a "week at a glance" 2 page template, made to sit side by side, for all subjects. Made specifically for a Kindergarten class, but with a few edits you can make it work for other grades. Days are listed across the top of the template. Subjects listed are Reading, Writing, Math, Science/Social Studies, and even an Arts/Crafty section, are listed going down the page. You will also get sections for your Objectives, Standards/CCS, Material and Assessments. A lot packed into 2 pages of organizations. The font used in this template is one of my new favorites, called LD Elementary.

But before you go enjoy some new cards from my friends Etsy handmade greeting card shop, Otherworldly Cards.

The long awaited ELL plans: M's 1st Grade

Hi everyone,

I am back with a new set of plans. These plans have been long in the making, even though they have been created for some time now. These are MY lesson plans, specifically the plans I use with my 1st grade ELL students. You all requested them and I finally had a moment to make them generic enough for anyone to use. Keep in mind that I only see them for 1 hour each day and I have to fit in all 4 domains, Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. Therefore I can't squeeze everything every day.

M's First Grade
This template is a one page week at a glace format.

Now I will leave you with the new additions to my favorite card shop Otherworldly Cards on Etsy. you have to seriously go look at the inside of these cards they are such a surprise.  :)

My Fav!

I'll be back in the next few days, I hope, to share my Kinder plans.
Until then enjoy!

Kris & Mel

This template was inspired by two lovely sisters, Kristen and Melissa. I was looking to create something like Kristen's template for my first few days back and Melissa's neon posts and decor made it all click together.

Kris and Mel
This template is a 1 page template for all subjects. There are no frills on this template, just simple and fast. It can be used for a Specialist, Resource teachers, RTI teachers, anyone really. It is even perfect for those paras you all have in your rooms, or even for subs. All you do is fill in the top box with a subject, group or time slot, then fill in the lesson, student activity and evaluation. Done! You also have a teacher reminder box on the left hand side, as well as a box for a schedule. I used another Kevin & Amanda font on this template, this one is a favorite of mine called Wish I Were Taller.

Erica

When I posted Alec the other day I said I would be back with Erica, and here I am. This template was originally Is Everything Here, and is still for sale. However, many of you have expressed that you were interested in Erica Bohrer, of Erica Bohrer's First Grade blog, edited version. So I finally got the time to make it generic enough for everyone to use while still preserving what she created.

This template is a 2 page template made to sit side by side. It has sections for reading, word work and phonics, literacy centers, writing, DEAR time, math, read alouds and student jobs. I used a combination of 2 fonts on this template, the original Cheri and Pea Hollee.

Alec

I FINALLY have something new to share with you. I created this template for a preschool teacher but I have since edited it to be more generic and can be used for any k-5 class. I am calling it Alec. It has areas for Math, Writing and Reading, with areas for small group instruction and workstation/ centers as well. In addition to all that there is a Guided Reading area with enough room for 3 groups to meet daily, a materials section and a whole page dedicated to teacher information, like objectives, notes, theme and spelling/ high frequency/ vocabulary words. It has so much information it is a 4 page template! But don't take my word for it, take a look yourself.

I realize that pg3 looks like it is a bit off, but it is not. For some reason my PDF image is a little wonky. However, I have printed the image and can assure you it prints up in the box.

For pricing, and font info please visit the Templates page, by clicking on the Template tab up above, and scroll all the way to the bottom.

I am considering offering the same template as a 3pg template but am not sure which 3 pages to offer. :/

I am also working on editing Erica Bohrer's template, previously Is Everything Here. It is my most popular template and there have been many inquiries as to how Erica edited it herself. Erica has given me permission to post her edited template, of my original, and once I get it generic enough I will post it on here for you all to purchase.

I have kind of been in an inspirational slump, but I hope to be coming out of it soon. I wonder... is there anything you all would like to see?

Ella Everything

Hi Everyone I'm back with a new template and this is something new from me. In an attempt to give myself more room, which it really didn't, I turned the page horizontal, or landscape view. You can read all about it below.

Ella Everything
Or as close to everything as I could get to. ;) I tried several new things with this template. This is a 2 or 3 page template meant to sit side by side or not, your choice. Instead of a portrait view I switched to a landscape, or horizontal view. Again the days are color coded for easy referencing between pages. It has a Math, Math stations, Content, Writing, Reading, LA/ and Lit stations section. The 3rd page is dedicated to Guided Reading groups. The font I used for this template is called Kranky and you can get it from FFonts.net.
If you purchase the 2 page version you will get pg 1 & pg 2. If you purchase the 3 page version you get the Guided reading page as well as the first two pages.

I should be back with another template soon, and I am looking forward to some big visual changes coming soon. Keep an eye out for it. Before I go though, I wanted to share that I am formally putting up a Terms of Service for A Teacher's Plan.

The Daily 5

For those of you very patient teachers out there that have been waiting so long for me to create a Daily 5 template here it is.

Disclaimer: I have never used the D5 nor have I read the book. I got input from some wonderful individuals who use the D5. So if this template doesn't look like what you are used to let me know. I can make a 2nd or even 3rd D5 template.

Without further ado...
Dru's Daily 5
A 2 page template that is meant to sit side by side. This template starts with a column for your daily notes. In my signature style, the days are color coded for easy distinction. You have a comprehension, reading, word work, writing column. In between these sections you have your student independent work. The font I used for this template is called CK Handprint.
(Click on the images to make them larger.)

I did not add Guided Reading to this template because it wouldn't fit, but you could always use it in conjunction with the Easy Guided Reading template. HOWEVER, the lovely lady that helped me create this template made a wonderful Daily 5 Check In sheet, that I am attaching to this template with your purchase.

On a side note: I hate to be a stickler, but if you have me edit a template it is considered a "custom template". Even thought a pre-made template is already created, it is still time consuming to edit a template to a specific teacher schedule/ preference. Just something to keep in mind. However, if you want to customize it but don't want to purchase a custom template, you can always edit the template on your own once you get the Word version.

As always any feedback is appreciated!

Two new lesson plan templates.

I've two new lesson plan templates up for sale. They were made for two fabulous ladies that were a pleasure to work with and have now been edited and adapted to meet your needs.
